Road Less Traveled

In Eastern Morocco, easing along the Algerian border lay the red dunes of the Western Sahara.  Mohammed, our camel guide, quietly and purposefully walked us out into the shifting sands, each step erasing a story of time.  The summer winds busy rearranging things as they saw fit.  Shifting textures.  The afternoon sun casting glow on all that it reached.  Dawn entered, welcoming a night so clear that man-made satellites could be observed darting across the speckled sky, while the sheer number of stars mocked rival at the grains of the warm Saharan dunes.
